What is

Age gracefully? Not a chance. This FDA-approved injectable isn’t just a wrinkle eraser – it’s a multi-tasking wonder that can help reduce excessive sweating, manage migraines, and even contour your jawline. How does it work, you ask? Botox is a neuromodulator made from botulinum toxin type A that blocks nerve receptors in the treated area, preventing muscle contractions that cause wrinkles. And the best part? The procedure is so quick and minimally invasive that it can be done over your lunch break. So, why settle for aging gracefully when you can age fabulously with Botox in Charlotte, NC? The team at Satin Med Spa team is here to help you achieve your beauty goals with ease.

How Long

DOES botox LAST?

For most patients, the effects of Botox lasts between 3 and 4 months. In that time period, the body will slowly break down the injected solution, therefore ongoing maintenance is required to maintain results. Some patients metabolize Botox more rapidly so they may experience a slightly shorter period of results, while others may experience effects that last up to 6 months. This is completely dependent on your body’s natural metabolic process, lifestyle and activity levels.

What To Expect From

During your initial consultation, we will evaluate your specific needs and create a customized treatment plan that is tailored toward the results you are seeking. Your treatment plan will include the areas to be injected, the number of units for your desired outcome and the total cost of the procedure. After this has been reviewed, we will then begin administering Botox through a series of small injections.

Getting Botox causes minimal discomfort and usually only takes 15-30 minutes to complete. Since the treatment is non-invasive, there is no required downtime following the procedure. In order to maintain results, continued treatments spaced 3-4 months apart is suggested.
